The track was first previewed in a now-deleted March 2021 Instagram post. In the post’s caption, Cordae hinted at his soon-to-follow Just Until…. EP, which came the following month. While “Super” did not appear on the EP, it was released in early October as the lead single for Cordae’s sophomore album, From a Bird’s Eye View.
